- Communicate or work with all levels of management, Inside Sales/Outside Sales in the areas of planning, purchasing, logistics and operations regularly
- Communicate effectively with vendors and customers
- Collect pricing and data from our vendors
- Negotiate cost reduction with suppliers
- Participate in team strategizing to optimize product and freight spend
- Submit bid packages to our customers
- Follow all company policies, Texas and USA laws
- Meet all meeting deadlines before they are due
- Learn and possess good product knowledge
- Knowledge of different ways to research product capabilities
- Identifying how to best meet special customer requirements while maintaining efficiency in those operational flows
- Identifying issues that affect overall company profitability and implementing field methods that maximizes the bottom line profit of the overall company
- Able to build a contact base for specific products
- Creating improvements and changes when necessary
- 2 year Degree or Work experience equivalent
- 0-2 year Product research capabilities, building a contact base for specific product
- Microsoft Word/MS Excel/MS Word/MS Outlook and MS Power Point
