Job Summary

The Commercial Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing commercial suspended and supported scaffolding construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, including pre-construction, scheduling, execution, and closeout

* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls

* Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, inspectors, and owners

* Review and administer contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals

* Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies

* Lead jobsite meetings and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders

* Monitor quality of work and ensure adherence to plans and specifications

* Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues as they arise

* Oversee site safety programs and enforce OSHA standards

* Manage project documentation, including drawings, reports, and closeout materials

Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects

* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices

* Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and employees

* Proficiency in construction management software

* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Skills & Certifications

* OSHA 30 certification

* NCCER

* Experience with projects such as office buildings, retail, healthcare, or industrial facilities

* Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
