We are seeking a CMT Technician to join our Houston, TX team! Come join us!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Driving to and from job sites.
- Collection of samples.
- Observations.
- Perform quality assurance tests.
- Preparation and submission of daily reports.
- Interaction with clients, contractors and other design professionals.
- 3+ years experience working in the construction industry.
- Experience reading and comprehending plans, specifications and test procedures.
- Working knowledge of concrete, soils, base and asphalt pavements.
- Highway or building construction experience and a proven history of working well with contractors and owners to accomplish construction tasks is preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to complete electronic reports us an on-line database system in the field on a daily basis.
- Currently have or able to obtain or already have Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I.
- Currently have or able to obtain SB-102 and HMAC 1B Certifications.
- Any other certifications are a plus (i.e. SB101, SB102, ACI-Strength, 1A, 1B).
- Ability to travel 20% of the time.
- Ability to obtain missing certification within 6 month of hire.
- Ability to use and navigate Site Manager is a plus.
