Construction Superintendent

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Construction Superintendent to join a leading Company located in the Houston, TX surrounding area.

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial ground-up construction projects. This individual will lead on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards from preconstruction through project completion.

• Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities and personnel.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain schedules and quality expectations.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols (OSHA and company standards).
• Track daily progress, manage schedules, and report to the Project Manager.
• Interpret and implement construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Conduct regular site meetings and inspections to review progress and resolve issues.
• Maintain strong communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Proven ability to manage ground-up projects and complex construction schedules.
• In-depth knowledge of building systems, codes, safety standards, and construction methods.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) is a plus.
