Overview
We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for an SSR Representative to join a leading company in the Houston, TX surrounding area.
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused individual to serve as an on-site SSR (Safety, Security & Reliability) representative. This role will primarily support and monitor subcontractors to ensure all job site safety procedures and compliance standards are strictly followed. The ideal candidate will be proactive, attentive, and comfortable working in an active job site environment.
Responsibilities- Serve as the on-site safety representative for subcontractors
- Monitor and enforce job site safety policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety guidelines
- Assist crews in safely completing tasks (e.g., holding ladders, spotter duties, general safety support)
- Observe and report safety concerns or violations
- Promote a culture of safety, security, and reliability on-site
- Move throughout the job site regularly to monitor activities and provide support
- OSHA 30 Certification (the company can provide if needed)
- CPR Certification (the company can provide if needed)
- Ability to remain mobile and active throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Comfortable working in an outdoor or construction job site environment
