• Lead and manage project safety programs across active heavy civil construction projects
• Conduct site inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and safety evaluations
• Partner closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and field leadership to proactively address safety concerns
• Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing employee training initiatives
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents while implementing corrective actions and preventative measures
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, TxDOT, and company safety standards and procedures
• Maintain safety documentation, reporting, and project compliance records
• Promote a strong field‑focused safety culture built on accountability and teamwork
• Assist project teams with pre-task planning, job hazard analysis, and risk mitigation strategies
• Support multiple project sites throughout South Texas as needed

• 5+ years of construction safety experience within heavy civil infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices
• Experience supporting TxDOT, municipal, underground utility, bridge, paving, or earthwork projects preferred
• Ability to build strong relationships with field operations and project teams
• Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• CHST, CSP, OSHA 500, or related certifications preferred

• Hands‑on safety professional with a strong field presence and relationship‑driven approach
• Experience supporting self‑perform heavy civil construction operations
• Able to balance accountability with collaboration and communication
