The Project Superintendent will oversee the day-to‑day field operations of assigned projects from planning to completion, ensuring safety, compliance, and quality.

• Plan, schedule, and monitor project activities, influencing, negotiating, and driving project schedules.
• Understand contract documents, sequencing/phasing, staffing, project estimates, and coordinate project personnel.
• Collaborate with Preconstruction Services on estimates for means & methods, systems, schedule, and general conditions.
• Assign and monitor project team members throughout all project phases.
• Perform performance evaluations for personnel assigned to this position.
• Establish, implement, manage, and enforce the Kitchell Safety Program, Site Specific Safety Plan, and OSHA guidelines to provide a safe work environment.
• Establish, implement, manage, and enforce the Kitchell Quality Assurance Program and enforce quality control based on contract specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
• Inspect work‑in‑progress to ensure workmanship conforms to specifications and contract documents.
• Monitor storm‑water prevention and fugitive dust regulations per the project’s Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan and applicable environmental regulations.
• Build professional on‑site relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
• Prepare and distribute Project Daily Reports.
• Maintain knowledge of Critical Path Method and Lean Process Scheduling, applying it to building, maintaining, and updating the Project Schedule.
• Monitor and update the project expediting log weekly.
• Maintain current and updated drawings.
• Develop and implement techniques, methods, and systems for the project, improving work methods and materials to enhance quality, safety, productivity, and management.
• Manage trade partners effectively to support timely project completion.
• Establish pre‑planning activities, document coordination, and discuss outcomes during weekly coordination meetings.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and trade partner coordination meetings.
• Assist with close‑out procedures per contract documents and the procedure manual.

• 10 years of construction field supervisory experience or 5 years with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field.
• OSHA 30 certification.
