Commercial Superintendent

We are assisting one of the fastest growing commercial general contractors in Houston as ranked by the Houston Business Journal. They are a full-service construction firm providing contracting, design/build, CM at risk and CM at fee service.

Due to tremendous growth, they are looking to add a Commercial Superintendent with experience in all facets of commercial construction. The company's portfolio is very diverse with projects of all sizes and in all sectors.

About the Opportunity

The Commercial Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through closeout
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal teams
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
• Conduct subcontractor meetings and maintain daily reports
• Ensure quality control standards are upheld throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify and proactively resolve field issues
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners

Qualifications
• 2-10+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial projects
• Experience building automotive projects is a plus
• Experience managing ground-up projects preferred
• Strong scheduling experience (Procore and/or Primavera experience a plus)
• Deep knowledge of commercial building systems and construction sequencing
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• OSHA certification preferred
