Senior Construction Project Manager

Qualified candidates will have five or more years of project management experience in commercial construction or a related industry. Must be able to read plans, have a willingness to learn construction management software, and be proficient in MS Word, Excel and MS Project. A college degree is preferred, but experience will be considered.

This position manages the day to day field operations of specific projects. This position requires a detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled professional to work in a fast-paced environment and perform a wide range of functions. The ability to work as part of a team is imperative. A minimum of three years of commercial superintendent experience in the Houston area is preferred.

The assistant project manager supports the project manager by overseeing a variety of duties. The ability to work as part of a team is imperative. Qualified candidates will have 2-5 years of assistant project management experience with a commercial general contractor. Ability to read plans, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Project required and ability to learn construction management software. College degree preferred but not required.

This position works with the chief estimator to assure that bids, proposals, and cost estimates are completed in a timely and orderly manner. Microsoft Office Suite required with strong Microsoft Excel proficiency, ability to learn construction management software, and a minimum three years in commercial estimating experience in the Houston area. Must have 3-5 years’ experience in estimating for commercial construction.

This position works with the Chief Estimator and supports the Estimating Department to assure that bids, proposals, and cost estimates are completed in a timely and orderly manner. This requires a highly organized and skilled professional to work in a fast-paced environment and perform a wide range of functions. Microsoft Office Suite required with strong Microsoft Excel proficiency and the ability to learn construction management software.

The ability to work as part of a team is imperative. High school diploma or GED required.

This position supports the Accounting Department by processing various information in spreadsheets, accounting and equipment software.

• Compiling, issuing and tracking Pay Applications, Change Orders, Equipment Invoicing and other Job Cost items.
• Maintaining various logs and an equipment database.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience
• Highly proficient in MS Office with emphasis on Excel
• Detail oriented
• Construction experience a plus but not required
