Position Description

The Hydrodemolition Foreman is responsible for safely directing daily field operations, supervising laborers and equipment operators, coordinating production activities, maintaining equipment and jobsite safety standards, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and in accordance with company and customer expectations.

This position requires strong leadership, hands-on hydrodemolition experience, and the ability to work in physically demanding environments while managing crews, schedules, and equipment logistics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct hydrodemolition laborers and field crews on active job sites.
  • Coordinate daily work activities to meet production goals, schedules, and customer expectations.
  • Operate hydrodemolition equipment and support equipment as required.
  • Ensure all hydrodemolition activities are performed safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct daily jobsite safety meetings, inspections, and hazard assessments.
  • Train, mentor, and develop crew members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and work practices.
  • Monitor work quality and ensure concrete removal meets project specifications.
  • Coordinate equipment mobilization, maintenance, fueling, and repairs.
  • Complete daily reports, production tracking, timekeeping, and required project documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, customers, and field personnel.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and adjust work plans as needed to maintain productivity and safety.
  • Perform general labor and hands-on field work as necessary.
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of hydrodemolition equipment, pumps, tooling, trucks, and support equipment.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting equipment to various project locations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, professional jobsite.
  • Travel extensively to projects nationwide on a continuous basis.
Position Requirements

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of hydrodemolition experience preferred.
  • Prior supervisory or foreman experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of hydrodemolition equipment, techniques, and production operations.
  • Experience supervising labor crews in heavy civil, industrial, or specialty demolition environments.
  • Valid CDL required.
  • Ability to tow and transport equipment safely and legally.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety requirements and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to read and understand project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions under pressure.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 100% nationwide for extended durations.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, overtime, and varying shifts as project demands require.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in extreme weather and physically demanding environments.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials and equipment.
