Sr. Concrete Paving Superintendent

The selected Sr. Concrete Paving Superintendent will be a key addition to the team for nationwide industrial projects including DOT, power plants, refineries, airports and more! Prior experience with slip form paving, preferably using Gomaco equipment is required for serious consideration. Job Type: Full-time Onsite with some required regional travel.

• Collaborating with all stakeholders to ensure compliance with contract specs.
• Coordinating with ready‑mix suppliers and testing labs.
• Proactively identifying and escalating issues that could impact the established project budget and timeline.
• Holding meetings onsite with key stakeholders and personnel to provide progress reports.
• Delegating tasks effectively and holding others accountable to achieve project milestones.
• Keeping schedules updated ensuring proper allocation of labor and equipment resources.
• Helping to enforce the site safety and QC plans.
• Helping to train field personnel on proper use of slip form paving equipment.
• Proactively identify training gaps with personnel, ensuring that they gain access to proper resources and supplemental training to maximize career growth potential.
• Assisting in the development of a strategic growth plan for the division.

• 5+ years of field leadership experience on construction projects of similar size and scope
• Strong background in slip form paving operations on industrial jobsites
• Demonstrated experience with large‑scale concrete paving mix designs
• Strong understanding of concrete placement, finishing, curing, jointing, reinforcement, dowel baskets, tie bars, grade control, and paving tolerances
• Prior experience updating project schedules and creating look aheads
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective people management skills including the ability to delegate
• Ability to manage and prioritize competing deadlines to ensure that project milestones are achieved

• Salary 120-160k (based on experience)
