What You’ll Do

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you’ll support the successful planning, execution, and completion of commercial electrical construction projects throughout the Houston area.

You’ll partner closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and customers to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and running efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting project teams from preconstruction through project closeout
  • Coordinating project documentation, communications, and approvals
  • Assisting with project schedules, reporting, and tracking milestones
  • Participating in project meetings and documenting action items
  • Reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Coordinating with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
  • Tracking submittals, RFIs, permits, and project documentation
  • Supporting procurement and material coordination efforts
  • Monitoring project progress and helping identify potential risks or issues
  • Assisting with project closeout documentation and turnover requirements

This role supports multiple projects simultaneously and requires both office and field involvement. Approximately 70% of your time will be spent on active jobsites throughout the Houston area and 30% in the office.

  • Construction, engineering, project coordination, or related experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred but not required
