Project Estimator

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Houston, TX, for a Project Estimator. The Project Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for structural steel construction projects and steel-related projects, analyzing project requirements, and developing budgets. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating blueprints and specifications, collaborating with internal teams, and maintaining communication with clients to ensure accurate project scoping and cost management.

The estimator will also work to optimize project costs and timelines while upholding quality and safety standards.

• Proficiency in Cost Management and Budgeting to effectively control expenses and optimize project finances.
• Experience with Structural Steel Estimating and Project Estimation to assess project requirements and accurately forecast costs.
• Strong Communication skills to collaborate with teams, stakeholders, and clients for clear and effective information exchange.
• Familiarity with construction industry standards and processes, and proficiency in relevant estimation software.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience in the Structural steel or construction industry is a requirement.
