Salary: $38.99 - $45.01 per hour (average $42.00/hour)

80% in field, 20% in office; own vehicle required.

SRI Telecom is hiring an OSP Construction Specialist. The role involves overseeing field activities, ensuring compliance with standards, and managing aspects of construction, including planning for materials, labor, and resource allocation. The specialist works with moderate guidance and is still acquiring higher‑level skills in their discipline.

• Oversee and execute various construction duties, ensuring safe operations and compliance with standards.
• Conduct field site assessments, surveys, and post‑construction reviews.
• Manage project costs, develop estimates, and monitor job expenses.
• Maintain accurate records of project details, milestones, and resource usage.
• Enforce work site safety standards and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Manage resources, support project coordination, and generate construction‑related reports.
• Address customer requests, monitor crew performance, and provide guidance to technicians.
• Coordinate all phases of construction projects, including interactions with stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Interact with government officials, utilities, contractors, and internal partners.
• Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule and fulfill other assigned duties.

• Knowledge of Outside Plant Construction (fiber and coax).
• Excel and Outlook skills required.
• Cross‑functional team coordination skills required.
• Ability to take ownership of jobs/tasks and drive to completion.
• Excellent verbal and written skills required.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills required.
• Ability to learn new proprietary software, download and compare data skills required.
• Willingness to travel 3-4 days per week up to twice a month in personal vehicle.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday, up to 40 hours per week.
