About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Office Project Manager to support the successful execution of heavy civil construction projects. This position works closely with Superintendents, Estimators, and field leadership to manage scheduling, project controls, financial tracking, claims support, and overall project performance. The ideal candidate understands heavy civil field operations but excels in an office-based project management environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from mobilization through closeout
  • Support field operations, production planning, and project execution
  • Coordinate with Superintendents and project teams to maintain schedules and productivity
  • Develop and maintain Primavera P6 schedules
  • Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and schedule delay evaluations
  • Assist with project claims preparation and documentation
  • Prepare and manage monthly pay estimates
  • Monitor project progress, costs, and contract compliance
  • Participate in preconstruction planning and constructability reviews
  • Support project closeout, punch lists, and as-built documentation
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and project safety requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong Primavera P6 scheduling experience
  • Experience performing Time Impact Analysis (TIA)
  • Experience supporting or managing construction claims
  • Background processing and managing pay estimates
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills
Preferred Experience
  • Earthwork and site development
  • Underground wet utilities (water, sewer, storm)
  • Concrete paving and civil infrastructure projects
  • TxDOT or public works projects
  • Self-perform heavy civil contractor experience
