Job Overview

Brice Construction & Design LLC is seeking a Construction Laborer to support daily construction site operations. The role involves physical labor, material handling, safety compliance, and assisting skilled tradesmen.

Responsibilities
  • Perform tasks involving manual labor such as cleaning and preparing the job site.
  • Load, unload, haul, and hoist materials; operate air, electric, and pneumatic hand tools.
  • Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and temporary shoring.
  • Assist foremen and superintendents with daily tasks and project plans.
  • Maintain a clean job site by collecting tools, removing debris, and securing hazards.
  • Operate and maintain construction equipment, including forklifts and skid steers.
  • Comply with all safety requirements and participate in safety meetings.
  • Work under a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the foreman or superintendent.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Pass background and drug screening.
  • Experience as a construction laborer (preferred).
  • OSHA‑30 or OSHA‑10 Construction Industry Safety Certification (preferred).
  • Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
  • Experience with underground utilities (preferred).
  • Strong self‑motivation, work ethic, and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Capacity to perform strenuous manual labor, including night, adverse, or severe weather conditions.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues, follow instructions, and adhere to project schedules.
