Job Description
The Estimator prepares conceptual and hard-bid estimates for ground‑up multifamily projects, partnering with the preconstruction and project teams from early budgeting through buyout.
Responsibilities- Prepare conceptual and detailed estimates for ground‑up multifamily projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs and build out detailed cost breakdowns
- Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier bids
- Support value engineering and constructability reviews
- Maintain unit‑cost and historical‑cost data
- Hand off budgets to the project team at buyout
- 1+ years estimating ground‑up multifamily construction (garden, wrap, or podium)
- Experience with full takeoffs and subcontractor bid leveling
- Proficiency in estimating software (On‑Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Office
- $80,000‑$110,000 base salary + 10% annual bonus
