Construction Cost Estimator

About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled Construction Cost Estimator to join our team in Houston, Texas
. In this role, you'll develop cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, support project managers in evaluating bids and change proposals, and maintain a cost database to improve future planning. If you're detail-oriented, experienced in construction cost estimation, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!

• Create conceptual estimates using preliminary design documents.
• Review contractor bids, change proposals, and value engineering solutions
  .
• Maintain a cost database to track historical project data and identify vendors.
• Assist in preparing bid packages and scoping contractor proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and local authorities to align budgets, schedules, and project goals.

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field.
• 5+ years of management experience
  , with at least 3 years in construction supervision
  .
• Hands-on experience with cost estimation for new builds, renovations, and infrastructure.
• RS Means, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio), and financial systems
  .
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Nice to Have: Experience with Procore, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
