Reconstruction AssistantJob Summary
A Reconstruction Assistant supports the repair, rebuilding, and restoration of properties damaged by fire, water, or, or other disasters, assisting the Head of Reconstruction with site coordination, scheduling, and documentation. They ensure projects stay on schedule, communicate with subcontractors, and maintain safety standards.
Cleaning and Restoration Technician Qualifications and Experience- Project Coordination: Assist Project Managers with daily operations, scheduling subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors, and managing material deliveries.
- Site Management:
Monitor job sites for safety compliance, quality control, and adherence to project plans. - Documentation:
Maintain project logs, take photos, document progress. - Field Support:
Perform hands‑on tasks such as, but not limited to, debris removal, cleaning, material staging, or minor construction tasks. - Customer Service:
Act as a point of contact for property owners, updating them on project status and addressing concerns.
- Experience:
Extensive scheduling, organization, and communication role(s). Previous experience in construction, restoration, or general contracting is preferred. - Skills:
Strong communication, organizational, and, problem‑solving skills. - Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with construction methods, building codes, and safety protocols. - Computer
Skills:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other common software platforms. Comfortability with texting and multiple platforms at once will be required. - Physical Ability:
Ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy materials, and work in, sometimes, difficult environments. - Requirements: A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
