General Laborer – Commercial Construction

We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Laborer to join our team in supporting a variety of commercial construction projects across the Houston metro area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with a range of tasks including demolition, painting, flooring, and operating small hand tools. This is a physically demanding position, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Safety is our top priority, and adherence to safety guidelines is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in general construction tasks such as demolition, painting, flooring, and site clean-up.
• Operate small hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Carry and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) as needed on job sites.
• Follow directions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.

Skills and

Qualifications:

• Ability to operate small hand tools such as drills, saws, and hammers.
• Basic painting and flooring skills are preferred.
• Physically able to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to multiple job sites within the Houston area.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong focus on safety and adherence to OSHA regulations.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Prior experience in commercial construction or general labor roles. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus. Knowledge of basic construction practices and materials.
