Assistant Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent in overseeing the day-to-day field operations of high-rise multifamily projects in the Houston area. This role is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring work is completed to the highest quality.

• Assist the Superintendent with daily site operations and field supervision.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work progresses safely and efficiently.
• Monitor project progress and support short-term scheduling and planning.
• Ensure work complies with project plans, specifications, building codes, and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections, identify deficiencies, and oversee corrective actions.
• Promote and enforce OSHA and company safety policies.
• Coordinate inspections with local authorities and third-party inspectors.
• Maintain daily reports, site documentation, and photo records.
• Assist with material deliveries, site logistics, and equipment coordination.
• Support project closeout, punch lists, unit turnovers, and final inspections.

• 2–7+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience on high-rise multifamily, mixed-use or hospitality projects
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and subcontractor coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Autodesk Build, or Bluebeam.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
