Scott Humphrey has partnered with a respected and growing Commercial General Contractor in houston is seeking an experienced Superintenden
t to lead field operations on tilt-wall and commercial construction projects in the Houston market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering industrial tilt-wall projects, strong tenure with previous employers, and the ability to lead subcontractors, maintain schedules, and ensure quality and safety throughout all phases of construction
This position offers the opportunity to work with a respected builder that serves a diverse portfolio of projects across industrial, aviation, education, municipal, religious, and community sectors
Key Responsibilities- Manage all day-to-day field operations from sitework through project closeout.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to meet key milestones.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Oversee tilt-wall panel erection activities, concrete operations, structural components, and project sequencing.
- Conduct daily jobsite meetings and coordinate trade activities.
- Monitor project quality and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and building codes.
- Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize schedule impacts.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure timely completion of punch-list items and project turnover.
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing tilt-wall construction projects
. - Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and site logistics.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Experience coordinating multiple trades and managing subcontractor performance.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Stable work history with strong tenure at previous employers.
- Experience with large commercial or municipal facilities.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
