The Project Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Greater Houston, with a combination of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. This position oversees paving projects from planning through completion, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of labor, materials, and equipment. The Project Manager manages communications with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring expectations are clear and that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Day-to-day duties include monitoring project progress, resolving issues, arranging inspections, managing documentation, and aligning logistics and expediting activities to support job-site needs. This role also contributes to process improvement and helps maintain AAA Paving’s standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated Project Management experience in paving, including project timeline planning, scheduling, trucking, budgeting, and loss prevention.
- Hands-on problem solving skills to ensure timely trucking delivery of asphalt, materials, and subcontractors to job sites.
- Experience with asphalt quality and inspection processes, including coordinating and documenting site inspections, safety meetings, pre and post job walks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with field crews, clients, inspectors, and vendors.
- Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time across multiple sites.
- Relevant experience in construction, paving, or civil infrastructure is required.
