Position Summary

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Site Superintendent oversees all on-site activities for commercial construction projects. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining quality standards and regulatory compliance. This client-facing position works with franchise owners, trades, subcontractors, building officials, and the Archmill team. Extensive travel and on-site work are required; projects typically last one to four weeks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Project Supervision
    :
    Oversee day-to-day operations at construction sites, ensuring adherence to plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
  • Team Management
    :
    Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, laborers, and other personnel, providing guidance to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Quality Control
    :
    Monitor work progress, conduct regular inspections, and address issues to maintain high standards. Own the Re-Image brand standards and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Safety Compliance
    :
    Enforce safety regulations, protocols, and policies to maintain a safe on-site environment.
  • Reporting
    :
    Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, work logs, and incident reports.
  • Communication
    :
    Act as a liaison between project managers, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and prompt issue resolution.
  • Problem Solving
    :
    Identify and resolve delays, conflicts, or technical issues while preserving project timelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role in commercial construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate execution and design compliance.
  • Experience in constructability analysis and providing clear guidance to trades.
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency and adaptability for fast-paced timelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills to motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore).
  • Relevant certifications or licenses are advantageous.
  • Must have a valid passport.

Work Conditions

  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 90% of the time.
  • Required to work in a construction setting with loud noises.
  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Must be able to remain standing for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry objects over 35 lbs.
  • Overnight work may be required based on project needs.
