Project Manager – JOC Healthcare Construction

Location: Houston, TX

Scott Humphrey has partnered with several large, reputable general contractors to identify a Project Manager for their Houston headquarters. This individual will play a key role in managing and delivering Job Order Contracting (JOC) projects within the healthcare sector.

As a Project Manager, you will lead and oversee multiple healthcare construction projects, ensuring successful execution from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires strong experience in JOC environments and the ability to manage fast‑paced, multi‑project workloads.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience
  , including leadership on JOC projects
  , preferably within healthcare or K–12 sectors
• Estimating experience is a plus
• Strong proficiency in:
• Scheduling
• Contract administration
• Subcontractor coordination and management
• Solid understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Experience with industry software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or Primavera P6
• Proven leadership, problem‑solving, and strong communication skills
