Schedule:

Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week

Pay Rate: $61.00 - $67.00 per Hour

Position Summary

A leading energy infrastructure organization is seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls Scheduler to support large-scale capital projects across the full project lifecycle. This individual will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules for major engineering and construction programs, while collaborating with project managers, engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in project scheduling, earned value management, change management, and project controls within industrial, energy, petrochemical, LNG, pipeline, or related large capital project environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules through stakeholder meetings, field verification, and contractor coordination.
  • Identify schedule risks, critical path impacts, and potential conflicts between project execution and safety requirements.
  • Perform schedule analysis and provide recommendations to improve project performance and execution strategies.
  • Support change management processes, including change notices, change orders, and schedule impact assessments.
  • Facilitate schedule reviews, progress meetings, and project controls reporting activities.
  • Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to track project performance and forecast outcomes.
  • Assist project teams with constructability reviews, project planning strategies, and resource forecasting.
  • Develop project performance metrics, productivity tracking tools, and schedule recovery plans.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams to ensure schedule alignment.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and project status presentations.
  • Mentor junior schedulers and provide guidance on scheduling best practices.
  • Support multiple concurrent projects while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
