Most school operators can launch a single location. Very few can replicate that process consistently, with increasing speed and precision each time.

Alpha is establishing a nationwide network of schools engineered to deliver a full day's worth of learning in just two focused hours through AI. This model depends on expansion being as rigorous and efficient as the educational product. This role is designed to ensure exactly that. You will control the entire journey of each new school site—from initial acquisition through full operational launch—while creating the infrastructure that enables every future opening to be faster, smoother, and more predictable.

This is not a conventional development position. You are not being hired simply to oversee projects. You are being hired to remove obstacles from the expansion process. That requires making definitive decisions on site suitability, engaging directly with permitting and construction challenges, negotiating with contractors, and maintaining relentless pressure on schedules. Simultaneously, you will deconstruct each component of this process into structured, AI-enabled systems that minimize manual intervention and enhance forecast precision with each iteration.

• Validate site viability through structured and AI-supported analysis of zoning requirements, permitting pathways, cost projections, and timeline constraints
• Manage several concurrent school construction projects, coordinating with construction managers, clearing obstacles, and delivering on-time, on-budget launches
• Create comprehensive, decision-ready capital project proposals that secure stakeholder alignment on scope, budget, and execution approach
• Oversee vendor selection processes, manage RFPs, and negotiate contracts with emphasis on delivery speed, quality standards, and cost efficiency
• Break down expansion processes into discrete work components and implement AI-powered systems that reduce timelines and enhance predictability

• Operating as a passive coordinator who waits for status reports from contractors or external partners
• Focusing exclusively on one segment (such as only site selection or only construction management) without accountability for the complete result
• Using manual, one-off approaches that require rebuilding with each new site
• Forwarding challenges upward without personally addressing permitting, design, or construction obstacles
• Consuming extended periods on stakeholder consensus-building without producing actionable decisions

Lead the complete expansion cycle for new school locations by delivering fully operational campuses on reliable schedules while systematically decreasing time, cost, and risk through AI-enabled process improvement.

• Verified track record leading at least one complete real estate development or construction initiative from site identification through operational opening with comprehensive ownership
• Experience overseeing multiple simultaneous construction or capital projects with direct accountability for scheduling, coordination, and problem resolution
• Deep working knowledge of zoning regulations, permitting processes, construction operations, and vendor management, with capability to interface directly with general contractors, architects, and regulatory authorities
• Proven capacity to make balanced decisions involving cost, schedule, and feasibility tradeoffs with clear, quantifiable results
• Experience refining or designing complex operational processes (such as permitting sequences, design coordination, or construction workflows)
• Demonstrated skill in decomposing intricate workflows into structured, scalable systems with continuous improvement
• Track record of leveraging tools (AI-based or otherwise) to eliminate manual tasks, speed up decision cycles, or enhance execution velocity
