ARM Energy’s Midstream team is seeking qualified candidates for a Construction Manager
- Pipeline based out of our Houston office.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of large diameter natural gas pipeline design, pipeline construction, regulatory requirements, along with strong leadership and communications skills. This position is accountable for project planning, design development and execution, including creation of project schedules, cost estimates, and scopes of work.
Primary Responsibilities:- Develop scopes of work, detailed estimates, construction contracts and other duties to support project execution
- Lead projects from front-end development throughout construction; including identifying business objectives, defining scope, building cost estimates and schedules, developing and overseeing execution plans
- Actively manage project risks by identifying risks and implementation of risk mitigation plans
- Coordinate with internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain withing scope, schedule, and defined budgets
- Manage third party construction and inspection contractors
- Monitor and control project progress, executing disciplined change management
- Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and aligns expectations about a project’s scope, objectives, expectations and outcomes
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 15-25 years of progressive project experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience working as a Construction Manager
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing contractors
