- Assemble complete, accurate bid package documentation and maintain organized cost-history databases.
- Prepare, distribute, and evaluate subcontractor and vendor RFPs.
- Evaluate alternative design solutions and value-engineering options based on cost-efficiency, constructability, and material availability.
- Assist project teams post-award with change-order pricing, scope revisions, and material procurement support.
- 4+ years of heavy civil/highway estimating experience covering asphalt/concrete paving, earthwork, bridge structures, and utility/drainage lines.
- 4+ years of hard-bid estimating, take-off calculations (area, volume, quantities), and material unit pricing.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with industry estimating and management software (e.g., Heavy Bid/HCSS, Heavy Job, Viewpoint, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Excel).
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to pass standard criminal and driving background screenings.
- Comprehensive healthcare coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)
- 401(k) retirement plan with a 5% company match
- Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays
- Defined career advancement pathways within a well-capitalized civil contractor
