You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for ground-up commercial projects, working closely with the preconstruction and project management teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients throughout the estimating process.

• Commercial construction estimating experience with a General Contractor
• Experience estimating ground-up commercial projects
• Background across K-12, Higher Education, Municipal, Religious, or similar commercial projects
• Strong understanding of plans, specifications, scopes of work, and construction costs
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient with estimating software and construction technology
• Good career tenure and stability – they are looking for someone committed to building a long-term career rather than someone who frequently moves between companies
• Local to the Houston market preferred
