Heavy Civil Project Manager

Project Manager (Heavy Civil / Industrial) | Houston, TX

$120,000 to $180,000 base, plus a full benefits package

Heavy civil and industrial contractor delivering foundations, piping, mechanical, and industrial process work across the Gulf Coast.

This person will own assigned projects from planning through closeout, building accurate scope, leading procurement, selecting and negotiating with subcontractors and vendors, and keeping the job on track and properly documented from mobilization to final walkthrough.

• Lead projects end to end: planning, procurement, execution, commissioning, and closeout
• Select and negotiate with subcontractors and vendors
• Manage project documentation: RFIs, submittals, daily logs, punch lists, as-builts
• Maintain working knowledge of building codes, OSHA standards, and permit and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate scope across heavy civil, foundations, piping, mechanical, or industrial process work

• 5 to 10+ years managing construction projects in the $5M to $50M+ range
• Background in heavy civil, foundations, piping, mechanical, or industrial process work
• Demonstrated ability to lead a project end to end, not just a portion of scope
• GC-background candidates also considered, provided they've run scope-specific work in the $100M to $500M range (not just managing subs on a smaller GC project)
• OSHA 30 preferred
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar
• Procore, MS Project, or Primavera P6 experience a plus

• A senior seat with real ownership over the project, not shared or split management
