SUMMARY
Piano accompanist for voice class, juries, student recitals, rehearsals and performances.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Accompanies voice class and other related disciplines.
- Rehearse and accompany students for solos performed in voice class and student recitals.
- Participate in and accompany student juries – vocal and instrumental.
Graduation from high school supplemented by private or college-level training in piano. Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
Three (3) years’ experience as an accompanist required.
Advanced piano skills; experience playing and knowledge of instrumental, vocal and choral repertoire; advanced sight reading skills; excellent organizational skills; ability to work well with students, faculty and staff in a diverse environment.
