Position Summary:

Responsible for leading GHW's multimedia content creation and managing audio-visual technology for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. Using creative production skills with advanced technical expertise to produce high-quality video content for internal communications, social media, broadcast, and partner campaigns. Oversee live streaming, virtual meeting integrations, and maintenance of state-of-the-art AV systems to ensure seamless communication across platforms.

Works closely with the department, the Office of the President/CEO, and external partners to create dynamic visual storytelling that aligns with organizational goals and helps ensure GWH's brand becomes and remains relevant in an increasingly digital-first world.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Video and Multimedia Production:

• Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit short- and long-form videos for internal and external audiences, including documentaries, promotional spots, training modules, and social media content and reels.
• Operate multi-camera systems, drones, 360º cameras, professional lighting, and audio equipment for studio and field productions.
• Capture professional-quality photos for events, marketing campaigns, publications, and social media.
• Manage studio and on-location photo shoots, including lighting, composition, and editing.
• Edit, retouch, and optimize images for print, digital, and web use.
• Edit content using industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve), incorporating motion graphics, closed captions, and accessibility features.
• Optimize video content for multiple platforms (web, social, broadcast, OTT streaming) to ensure correct aspect ratios, compression, and metadata.

Audio-Visual and Event Production:

• Manage AV support for live, hybrid, and virtual events, including town halls, summits, trainings, and press conferences.
• Set up and operate equipment for live streaming, webinars, and virtual conferencing (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.), integrating professional video and audio feeds.
• Coordinate with vendors for large-scale productions, staging, or special AV needs.
• Provide technical training and guidance to staff on presentation tools and AV best practices.

Technology and Equipment Management:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade studio and AV equipment, ensuring readiness for rapid deployment.
• Recommend and implement emerging AV and streaming technologies to keep GWH at the forefront of communication trends.
• Manage asset library, media archives, and backups.

Collaboration and Brand Integration:

• Work with PR and marketing to ensure all visual media aligns with brand standards and strategic messaging.
• Partner with Goodwill locations to produce collaborative multimedia projects showcasing impact stories.
• Ensure ADA compliance and accessibility in all digital content.

Current and Future Technical Advancements and Trends:

• Anticipate, test, and integrate new tools and trends in media production, including:

• AI-Assisted Editing & Content Creation:
  Leveraging AI tools for rapid editing, captioning, language translation, and video summarization.
• Augmented & Virtual Reality Storytelling:
  Experimenting with immersive experiences to enhance donor engagement, training, and community outreach.
• Cloud-Based Production Pipelines:
  Using remote collaboration tools for distributed editing, asset sharing, and virtual post-production.
• Live Interactive Streaming:
  Integrating real-time audience engagement features such as polls, Q&A overlays, and multi-camera switching for virtual events.
• Advanced Accessibility Standards:
  Incorporating multi-language closed captions, sign language overlays, and descriptive audio tracks to meet expanding compliance requirements.

• Short-Form Vertical Video Mastery:
  Producing content tailored for Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, and You Tube Shorts to reach younger audiences.
• Data-Driven Content Optimization:
  Using analytics to refine storytelling approaches based on audience engagement and performance metrics.
