Social Media Specialist - Houston
Are you passionate about creating content that captures attention, builds community, and drives engagement? We are seeking a creative and results-oriented Social Media Specialist to help expand our digital presence and elevate brand awareness across multiple social platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys storytelling through visual and written content, and understands how to connect with audiences in authentic and meaningful ways.
- Develop and execute engaging content strategies across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, Linked In, and emerging channels.
- Create, edit, and publish original content including videos, graphics, photography, reels, stories, and written posts.
- Grow audience engagement and online communities through creative campaigns and consistent interaction.
- Write compelling copy tailored to each platform while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Monitor social media trends, industry news, and emerging technologies to identify new content opportunities.
- Track and analyze campaign performance, audience insights, and engagement metrics to optimize results.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support marketing initiatives, campaigns, events, and brand-building efforts.
- Maintain content calendars and coordinate timely delivery of social media assets.
- Capture content at company events, community activities, and special projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms, audience engagement strategies, and content best practices.
- Excellent writing, editing, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Experience with photography, videography, video editing, and graphic design tools.
- Ability to interpret analytics and use data to improve content performance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to contribute new ideas in a team-oriented environment.
