Photography Assistant

Overview

Assist with the production of visually compelling and impactful photographs and video for visual, technical, and educational purposes. Work with the photographer to help produce a combination of photos and videos for marketing, training, and educational use. The successful candidate will demonstrate technical excellence, meet qualitative and quantitative goals, and deliver results aligned with project requirements and deadlines.

• Assist with coordinating photography sessions and communicating with the marketing team to set up a time and location for a photoshoot.
• Submit photos into D.A.M. with proper labeling and tagging.
• Help arrange objects and scenes, and direct participants during photoshoots.
• Maintain archives of images and videos.
• Show attention to detail and commitment to excellence in every aspect of work.
• Have solid knowledge of Photoshop, Capture One, or other photography-specific software.
• Understand the production process for online publishing and various printing applications.
• Juggle multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong personal and technical communication skills.
• Multitasking ability in a fast‑paced environment.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Computer literacy in Windows and Mac environments, including Microsoft and Adobe Creative Suites.
• Photography editing skills are a plus.

• Associate degree in marketing, photography, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• At least one year of previous photography experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Excellent phone communication skills and organizational abilities.
• Highly detail oriented, self‑motivated, and conscientious follow‑through.
• Professional personal presentation with cordial one‑on‑one presence.
• Ability to perform as a team member and possess strong computer skills.
