Visual Designer – Apple tvOS

Apple’s tvOS Design team is looking for a Visual Designer to create beautiful and intuitive experiences for the big screen. You will be a brilliant problem solver, self‑starter, and excellent communicator with a passion for great design and the ability to achieve it.

In this role you will work from concept creation to detailed design specifications, collaborating with designers, engineers, QA, and stakeholders to reimagine and refine how users interact with the TV Platform. Deliverables must be completed under tight deadlines while maintaining Apple’s high standards and design aesthetic.

• Design elegant experiences for TV and mobile platforms, from concept to final specifications.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to refine interactions and ensure usability.
• Present concepts and designs through prototypes, sketches, high‑fidelity comps, and presentations.
• Work with engineers and QA to shepherd designs to completion.

• 6+ years of experience in product design and UI across TV, mobile, web, or similar platforms.
• Experience shipping digital products from start to finish, including documentation and development processes.
• Proficiency in visual design tools and rapid prototyping.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to large groups and executives.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and adaptability to rapid change.

• Demonstrated creative and innovative problem‑solving with a willingness to take the lead.
• Passion for visual detail in proportion, type, motion, and interaction.
• Empathy for user experience and ability to advocate for it with engineering, operations, and business teams.
• Strong enthusiasm for Apple, its products, and its customers.
