Part-Time Praise and Worship Leader

The major purpose and responsibility of the Praise and Worship Leader is to work in facilitating excellent worship experiences weekly for the Nehemiah children. These experiences should include a healthy mix of traditional/contemporary worship music and Bible based character education. Monday - Friday 2 pm
-6pm.

Pray for the Nehemiah Center staff, parents, children and volunteers. Establish and foster exemplary relationships with staff/non-staff workers, church members, business partners and the community at large.

Select, teach and execute all praise and worship music daily for after-school students.

Manage all administrative duties related to your position.

Build the Nehemiah Choir spiritually and vocally. Develop Godly leaders and singers.

Create and lead annual Christmas dinner program for Nehemiah Choir.

Create and lead annual choir performance at annual gala (Hotel ZaZa)

Weekly Bible lessons and scripture study with College Prep College Students.

Must be a worshipper and demonstrate a lifestyle committed to Christ. Demonstrate competent and knowledge of multiple genres/expressions of worship music – for teaching and execution. Particular attention should be given to contemporary hymns and gospel songs.
