HTRI seeks someone to edit and format technical documents, including electronic rendering of schematics and graphics; create, manage, and revise software documentation projects.
- Edit (both online and hard copy) and format documents, including electronic rendering of supporting graphics. Ensure consistency and quality of documents that reflect corporate image.
- Edit and compile software documentation projects. Ensure well-constructed online help projects that are consistent among the various software components; provide end-users with an effective point-of-use reference.
- Format technical presentations and posters. Ensure content is presented in accordance with HTRI Style Guide and conventional grammar standards, as well as convey information in an intelligible manner to a global audience.
- Develop and present sessions on writing techniques and related software tools. Serve as a resource for staff requiring assistance with written communications and online output.
- BA or BS in English, Technical Writing, Journalism OR BA or BS in a STEM discipline with a minor in Technical Writing
- Mastery of standard word processing and graphics software used by HTRI
