Position:
Per Diem Psych PBX Receptionist (Weekends)

This role assists with visitation, property, and front‑desk operations. The person must be flexible in scheduling.

Responsibilities
  • Back up and assist the receptionist to ensure a smooth process during visitation.
  • Check in visitors, direct traffic, manage visitor flow, and escort visitors to cafeteria or gym.
  • Assist with property check‑in and contraband screening; educate visitors on visitation process.
  • Answer phone calls and deliver property to units as needed.
  • Resolve issues at the front desk.
  • Communicate with nurses, mental‑health technicians, and visitors regarding visitation.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all visitors, vendors, medical staff, and employees.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience in behavioral healthcare or customer service.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Team player.
