Position OverviewOportun is currently seeking qualified candidates with customer service, cashier, sales, or hospitality experience to work full‑time. As Member Loyalty Representatives you will create a rewarding member service experience in stores and communities, educating members about inclusive, affordable financial services.
Responsibilities- Welcome members with a warm greeting and provide quality member service.
- Seamlessly process all transactions following company policies & procedures while protecting member information.
- Work independently or as part of a team, often without direct supervision, to exceed daily goals in lending and servicing activities.
- Engage in outreach efforts >50% of the time, building relationships with local businesses, attending community events, and encouraging store visits.
- Assist potential members with applications, using iPads or scanning QR codes to start new applications.
- Maintain a clean and inviting work area through light housekeeping, trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and window cleaning as needed.
- Perform occasional administrative tasks on a computer (approximately 3‑6 hours per day).
- Stand while assisting members; sitting is permitted during non‑member‑facing tasks.
- Travel between designated locations within a reasonable commute and go outdoors year‑round for outreach.

- Basic computer skills; able to operate office equipment such as phones, scanners, and iPads.

The base hourly rate for this full‑time position is $17.00 - $18.00, based on role, location and experience.
