Customer Service Specialist
Prime Source Building Products Inc., one of the nation's largest wholesale distributors of building supply products, has an immediate opportunity for a Customer Service Specialist in our Atlanta, Greensboro, or Columbia locations, in support for Prime Source's Inside Sales Department.
This Customer Service Specialist role will provide the admin support for Prime Source Inside Sales function. Some responsibilities include the following:
- Enters bulk of sales teams will call and warehouse orders ensuring 99.9% order accuracy
- Enters RMA's into system and coordinates with ops to determine if return is necessary
- Enters Credits into system and coordinates with ops to determine if credit is warranted
- Handles Home Depot and Lowes calls and coordinates with ops when necessary
- Coordinates BMG orders with Territory Managers and BMG support team
- Assists will call customers find the will call office to pick up orders
- Acts as phone tree back up for sales team handling overflow calls and customer service calls
- Supports product literature and marketing materials to the customer and sales team
- Responsible for communicating route code changes to sales team and coordinating with ops on missing route codes on customer file
- Supports the Inside and Outside Sales Teams with urgency
- Responsible for utilization of to document calls and any other customer interaction or leads
- Completes daily work tasks diligently and efficiently
- Performs other duties as assigned by management to address and provide effective support of company mission, values and goals
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years of sales or telemarketing experience preferred/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong PC skills including Windows, MS office suite
- CRM Systems
- Company Reporting Software
- SAP preferred
- Proficient with SAP and to ensure order accuracy and fast customer response times.
- Ability to learn new technology quickly
- Excellent verbal, written communication
