Central Leasing Coordinator
The Central Leasing Coordinator serves as a central support role across leasing, onboarding, and resident retention functions. This position is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the resident lifecycle, from initial inquiry and application processing through lease execution, renewals, and ongoing resident communication.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet prospective residents professionally and identify housing needs and preferences.
- Present community features, amenities, pricing, and leasing options to prospective residents.
- Conduct follow-up communication with prospects and maintain accurate guest records.
- Complete lease applications, assist with application verification, and communicate application results.
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure timely lease execution.
- Support resident retention initiatives by proactively managing lease renewals and renewal outreach.
- Negotiate lease renewal terms within established company guidelines.
- Proactively contact residents regarding renewal offers and lease agreements.
- Follow up on pending renewals to ensure timely closure.
- Receive, review, and process resident applications and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate resident files, lease packets, and data within company systems.
- Ensure timely communication with residents, brokers, agents, and internal teams throughout the leasing and renewal process.
- Respond to emails, phone calls, text messages, and resident inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Address resident concerns and escape complex issues when necessary.
- Foster a welcoming and service‑oriented environment for current and prospective residents.
- Maintain organized leasing and resident records, reports, and documentation.
- Assist with weekly reporting, market surveys, resident communications, and office administration tasks.
- Maintain knowledge of local market conditions and leasing trends to support occupancy and resident satisfaction goals.
- Support departmental performance metrics and operational processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor with the ability to maintain professionalism and a strong customer‑focused demeanor with demanding clientele.
- Excellent time management skills, detail orientation, and the ability to multi‑task and prioritize work.
- Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills, along with advanced conflict resolution skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills and proficient in English. Must be able to articulate needs and convey information verbally and in writing effectively with employees, customers, supervisors, and co‑workers throughout the organization.
- Knowledge of management methods and sound employee relations techniques with an ability to connect to staff, troubleshoot problems, and help teams collaborate, as necessary.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience using Entrata preferred.
