We are looking for a dependable, proactive, results-oriented Customer Service
Retention Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for retaining valued clients in the competitive retail electricity market.
If you bring strong industry knowledge, excel at converting challenging customer interactions into positive outcomes, and thrive in an independent, fast-paced setting without needing constant supervision, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Customer Retention: Deliver high-level support via phone and email, effectively addressing complex inquiries and turning potential cancellations into long-term client relationships.
- Account & CRM Management: Accurately update customer profiles, log detailed interaction records, and ensure precise account monitoring in our CRM system.
- Energy Market Consultation: Utilize your knowledge of retail electricity, energy markets, and utility billing to explain complex statements and resolve client issues clearly and efficiently.
- Administrative Operations: Manage general office and administrative tasks, adapt to shifting priorities, and support broader team operations as needed.
- Maintain Professional Standards: Represent the brand with professionalism, dependability, and strong attention to detail at all times.
- 3+ years of customer service experience in a professional office environment.
- Prior experience in the retail electricity industry with a baseline understanding of utility billing and energy markets.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to de-escalate complex or high-emotion customer situations efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain high organization without direct supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with computers, CRMs, email systems, and standard office software.
- Highly reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing operational priorities.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Highly Preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.
