360 Health and Wellness, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Houston, Texas, offers comprehensive dental services to both insured and uninsured patients.

About the role

The Dental Treatment Coordinator serves as the critical link between patients and our dental services. The coordinator ensures patients understand treatment plans, receive timely care, and fulfill financial responsibilities. The role supports the organization’s mission of improving oral health outcomes and completing treatment plans within a one‑year timeframe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Treatment Plan Coordination:
    Monitor and guide patients through dental treatment plans, ensuring timely completion and alignment with the 1‑year goal.
  • Patient Communication &

    Education:

    Explain treatment plans, oral health, and financial responsibilities; provide one‑on‑one education and support to increase compliance.
  • Insurance Verification & Payment Collection:
    Verify insurance eligibility (Medicaid, Medicare, etc.), coordinate re‑certifications, and accurately collect co‑pays and other payments.
  • Schedule & Patient Flow Management:
    Manage accurate appointment scheduling, perform daily schedule reviews, and optimize patient flow to minimize wait times.
  • Documentation & EHR Compliance:
    Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date documentation in patient charts and electronic health records, ensuring compliance with policies, privacy laws, and quality standards.
  • Performance & Productivity:
    Meet organizational key performance goals for call volumes, maintain precision, follow‑through, and service quality standards in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Flexibility & Additional Responsibilities:
    Provide cross‑coverage to other clinics as needed; adapt to changing priorities and assist with tasks outside routine duties.
Education & Qualifications

Education
:
High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience
:
One year of dental experience in a similar setting or formal training from a vocational school. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with EHR systems desirable. Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desired. Registered Dental Assistant with TSBDE highly desired. Minimum continuing education hours for licensure must be obtained annually.
