Role Description The Denture Tech role is a full-time, on-site position based in Houston, TX. This role involves fabricating, adjusting, and finishing dentures and related prosthetic devices according to prescriptions and specifications from dental professionals. Day-to-day tasks include setting teeth, processing acrylic, performing repairs and relines, and ensuring accurate fit and function of restorations. The Denture Tech will collaborate closely with dentists and other lab technicians, maintain organized and clean work spaces, and follow established quality and safety protocols.
This position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality results.
- Strong foundation in Dentistry and Dental Care, with an understanding of oral anatomy and restorative procedures.
- Proficiency in Prosthodontics and Dental Technology related to dentures, partials, and other removable prosthetics.
- Demonstrated Laboratory Skills, including model work, wax-ups, acrylic processing, and use of dental lab equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret dental prescriptions, follow technical instructions, and perform precise, detail-oriented work.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a professional, reliable, and safety-conscious work style.
- Prior experience as a denture technician or in a dental laboratory setting preferred; formal dental technology training or certification is a plus.
