SUMMARY
The Dental Hygiene Operations Assistant is primarily responsible for assisting the dentists in the examination and treatment of patients, while managing dental offices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
EDUCATION- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s degree in Applied Science preferred
- Current CPR Basic Life Support required
- Registered Dental Assistant required
- Certified Dental Assistant, having taken the National Board Dental Assisting Examination, preferred but not required
- Proof of immunizations records (within last 6 months) required
- 1 year current front office experience required.
- Dental assisting experience, chair-side assisting, and sterilization and preparation and dental software package experience preferred
