Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations, evaluations, and treatment planning
• Diagnose oral health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide general dentistry services, including fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, and other restorative procedures
• Review and interpret dental X-rays and other diagnostic imaging
• Administer local anesthesia as appropriate
• Perform routine and complex restorative dental procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
• Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment recommendations, risks, benefits, and alternatives to patients
• Monitor patient progress and provide appropriate follow‑up care
• Collaborate with Dental Assistants and Hygienists to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care
• Maintain strict infection‑control, OSHA, HIPAA, and safety standards
• Stay current with developments in dentistry, technology, materials, and treatment techniques
• Participate in continuing education and professional development
• Build trust and positive relationships with patients and families
• Contribute to a collaborative, professional, and positive office culture

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
• Active and unrestricted state dental license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• DEA registration, if required for the position
• Proven experience providing comprehensive general dentistry services
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, treatment planning, and clinical protocols
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision‑making abilities
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively with Dental Assistants, Hygienists, and administrative staff
• Strong commitment to patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced dental practice

• 2+ years of experience practicing general dentistry
• Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records
• Experience with crowns, bridges, restorative dentistry, and extractions
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
• Membership in the ADA or applicable state dental association
• Experience working in a high‑volume dental practice
