We are working with publicly listed real estate developer and builder, with extensive operations in Texas. The company oversees entire development processes in Texas—from land acquisition and planning through design, construction, and delivery—ensuring efficiency, quality, and control across every phase.
Its focus is on large-scale residential developments, including both multi-family and single-family housing projects, with an expanding footprint in the Houston market.
We are looking for an experienced Architect to focus on Single-Family Residential Projects.
Responsibilities- Lead the design and documentation process for production and custom single-family homes
- Prepare detailed, code‑compliant, and construction‑ready drawings
- Coordinate with development, engineering, and construction teams to ensure design intent is met
- Identify and resolve design or coordination issues quickly and effectively
- Review and approve consultant deliverables and technical drawings
- Participate in field visits to validate construction against design
- Contribute to template and standards development to streamline design workflows
- Based in Houston, Texas, or willing to work full‑time on‑site
- Licensed Architect or strong architectural background with verified technical expertise
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in single‑family residential architecture (production and/or custom homes)
- Portfolio showcasing robust, completed single‑family projects (not conceptual or small‑scale)
- Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and field coordination experience
