The Revit Integrator/ BIM Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of all incoming drawings and models. Unlike traditional drafting roles, this position does not involve creating new drawings or models from scratch. Instead, the coordinator functions as a technical reviewer and upgrade specialist, responsible for auditing, updating, and standardizing existing content received from external engineering partners.
Once updated to current client standards, drawings and models are added to the centralized drawing management system and returned to the requesting team. This role also supports the ongoing maintenance of the drawing/model library, ensuring all materials remain current, organized, and readily accessible for future project needs.
Key Responsibilities- Review, standardize, and update incoming drawings and models across all disciplines, transforming them into compliant Master Models aligned with current client standards.
- Support multiple project teams by fulfilling drawing, sheet, and model requests to aid active construction, facility operations, and maintenance activities.
- Analyze and upgrade legacy CAD files by mapping outdated standards to current requirements.
- Maintain and catalog the drawing/model library to ensure accuracy, version control, and ease of retrieval.
- Collaborate with team members to improve workflows, uphold quality processes, and follow structured procedures.
- Provide timely communication to team leads, contribute to KPI/metric tracking, and participate in regular progress and status meetings.
- Perform quality checks, coaching, and peer reviews for junior staff and new hires as needed.
- High School Diploma required.
- Technical degree or professional certification in Drafting, Autodesk, Architectural Technology, or related fields preferred.
- 3+ years of recent experience using Revit and AutoCAD
, ideally within construction or manufacturing environments supporting model maintenance and plan set updates. - Experience with Navisworks and BIM
360 is a plus. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
