Mastercam Programmer

CNC Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team and work on a new 4-axis machining center. You will be responsible for programming this machine to machine 6x12x24 inch forgings for flight‑critical helicopter components. The components have been rough‑machined and you will be required to translate 2D drawings into 3D models, create CNC programs using Mastercam, and design fixtures.

You will also assist staff with work order/router development and oversee the first and second article runs to ensure programming readiness.

• Program a 4-axis machining center for helicopter component production.
• Translate 2D drawings into 3D models.
• Create CNC programs using Mastercam software.
• Design fixtures for the machining process.
• 5+ years of CNC programming experience.
• Proficiency in Mastercam programming.
• Ability to translate 2D drawings into 3D models.
• Experience setting up and operating mills and lathes up to 4‑axis.

You will work both on the shop floor with the machines and at a desk. The shop operates 40 hours a week from 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a lunch break from 11am to 11:30am. Minimal overtime may be required to meet scheduled due dates. This is a contract opportunity for 8-12 months, with potential for conversion to a full‑time position depending on workflow.

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Houston, TX.
